Bronte’s Jane Eyre comes to life in this great movie based on the novel. I love classic tales of hardship and romance and this movie has it all. When Jane comes to live in the Rochester home to teach his young daugheter she never thought she would fall in love with him. They come from two different backgrounds, but that is not the only thing that holds this love back. There are several different reditions of this movie and I would have to say this one and the old back and white with Orson Welles is the best.

William Hurt was the perfect person to play Rochester, he was just the sort of person I pictured when reading the book.
