Summary - Perfect 5.0
Dick Van Dyke at his best! Though my favorite of his is still Mary Poppins, I really love this movie. Its about a inventor with two young children and he has not yet made a invention that would sell. He has a great imagination. He buys Chitty (a car) for his children, then mets Truly Scrumptious, a nice young lady, he tales a tale that leads the the great adventures of excaping the bad Baron and seeing the wonders of the great Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car. Its a great musicals that the whole family can love.

Dick Van Dyke is great as every. He is so energetic, and limber it is amazing how he can dance around and bend his limbs the way he does. When he plays the jack in the box, it was so much fun watching him.Female Stars - Really Great 4.5

It was definatly a fantasy, with a car that can turn into a boat, or fly like a plane. Its all about the tall tale that a father tells to entertain his kids, and its great fun.
