Marisa Tomei stars as Danika, a middle-class mom with a nice family who has issues with ‘seeing things’, mostly quite disturbing. She ends up going to a psychiatrist who offers trust and help with her situation. The progression of disturbing moments gets a bit tedious and appears without point until the twist at the end of the movie when the story reveals the main point. Tomei was outstanding, but I felt the great horror/thriller sequences did not make up for the way the writers chose to unveil the story line only at the very end.
