Summary - Very Good 3.5

This is my second movie of the weekend where Marissa Tomei (Ruby) is seeing a therapist (the other was “Danika”). This romantic comedy puts Tomei, perpetually attracted to men who need fixing, with D’onofrio (Sam) – a man who claims to be from the future. I must admit that this was a great pairing. D’onfrio with his offbeat approach jives well with Tomei’s classic neurotic demeanor. Even though film has a subtle sarcasm, the chemistry between the two is undeniable. The movie starts to drag on a bit, but by that point you are held captive because you want to find out what is really going on with Sam and his story. Waiting through it pays off, because the story packs a decent series of great punches through to the end.
