A very enjoyable, light-hearted, and funny movie! As someone who has been to Bangalore several times, I can say that this movie does a remarkably good job at giving you a sense for what it is like there with a humorous viewpoint — and the setting provides plenty of material to work with. Although this is not a Bollywood film, no film set in India would be complete without some romance — and this film delivers on that as well.
Nothing extremely memorable about the acting, but the cast pulled of seriousness when called for, humor when needed, and cheesy-ness that wasn’t over the top added the necessary flair for a movie about India.
I think the film did a great job of imparting what it is like to travel to India as an American business person. What made the production stand out is its ability to add humor without crossing the line over to over silliness.
A very family friendly film, except for a few funny scenes where the main guy and gal are inadvertently booked in to the same hotel room — and yes, it does result in PG-13 references.
Just funny enough that the film stays out of “this could be you” territory.
