Summary - Great 4.0

A great movie that mixes together a patchwork of romantic situations between different, yet connected, couples. Lots of LOL moments fueled by very British sarcastic humor made this movie very funny. There were also some touching mushy moments as well that helped this film earn it’s romantic stripes. All in all — very enjoyable.

Acting - Perfect 5.0

All the British “usual suspects” including Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth and more, plus an American star list that includes Laura Linney, Billy Bob Thornton and others. This is truly a seasoned crew that pulls it off pretty much flawlessly.

Film - Great 4.0

The format of the interconnected stories works well and never looses you. Set during the holidays, the surroundings help the stories pull at the heart strings. The dialog doesn’t require an undue amount of concentration and the humor keeps things from getting too serious.

Edge - Sordid 3.1

Some language and some very funny scenes involving some nude romance between two “plain jane” folks working as stand-ins for a porno.
