Summary - Really Great 4.5

If you can sit through this whole movie without feinting, vomiting, or pausing it, you are a certified freak.

Seriously, it takes balls to watch the whole movie.

A Clockwork orange is a very disturbing movie, led by several people being beaten to death and two on-screen rapes. Well then why is it so good? It’s what happens after that that makes it so good. Alex’s reconditioning and what he is forced to do afterwards, and the way he told the story, brilliant.

so don’t have the kids see this one, for nobody can proberly handle this movie.

Acting - Really Great 4.5

It’s really like a one man show, Malcom McDowell’s ALEX is the only Character worth a damn.

Male Stars - Perfect 5.0

Malcom Mcdowell's Performance: One of the Greatest of All Time.

Female Stars - Really Great 4.5

I guess this means the lady at the reconditioning. She's sorta like the dictator from Cuckoo's nest.

Female Costars - Great 4.0

I guess this means the girls Alex raped. I give them props for putting up with it, especially because he was wearing that dumb make-up when he was doing it.

Male Costars - Really Great 4.5

Well, i loved the Droogs........that's basicly all the Male costars.

Film - Perfect 5.0

I guess the violence depicted is what makes this perfect…..Oh wait that sounded wierd…..

Direction - Perfect 5.0

The way the camera moves away from alex in so many scenes, and the voiceovers alex does gives it an easy perfect.

Dialogue - Perfect 5.0

The lines all have relevance, but we have come to expect that from stanley Kubrick Movies.

Music - Great 4.0

Music is kinda wierd.

Visuals - Perfect 5.0

Anything i say about the visuals would make me seem perverted because of the rape.

Edge - Horrid 4.2

Probably the Most Outrageously crude movie i have ever seen.

Sex Explicit 5.0

Two on-screen rapes, lots of boobs and a couple vagina's. Yeah, it's kinda like a porno.

Violence Savage 4.4

Lots of people getting beaten to death, there is rape, bot a full 5 but close.

Rudeness Profane 3.2

Words like hell and Bastard are used very frequently. a couple of F bombs.

Reality - Glib 1.2

I’m glad i don’t know what rape looks like….but that looks very realistic to me.

Circumstantial - Glib 1.6

Well, gangs don't go around in white robes with overalls and straps with belts that make thier groins look bigger.

Well, it takes place in the future....that's it.

Great appreciation MJ. Clockwork floored me when I first saw it in high school. It was like: So that’s what genius movie making is like.
