BrianSez's Review

Summary - Great 4.0

I didn’t think a documentary would hold my attention as much as “Man on Wire” did. Using a blend of intriguing storyline, even more interesting characters, infusion of French quirkiness, and the drama of the main event — this movie keeps you thoroughly engaged and continually wanting to find out what comes next.

Acting - Perfect 5.0

All of the people involved, especially Philippe Petit, were such interesting characters, that this film has an easy time of making direct shots and interviews very entertaining.

Film - Great 4.0

The way the film leads you through Philippe’s life and up through to the main event was extremely well done. Also, the balance between focus on story and focus on character was equally well done. All in all, you can’t expect much more from a documentary.
