BrianSez's Review

Summary - Very Good 3.5

A grand and dramatic following of two British athletes’ journey to the 1924 Olympics. This engrossing story does more than let you in to what drives people to succeed — but also gives you a marvelous glimpse in to history and elements of morality and psyche as exhibited by a Jewish man at Cambridge and a devout Christian from Scotland. Very goodmovie.

Acting - Very Good 3.5

I’m not sure whatever happened to Ian Charleson (Eric Liddell from Scotland) and Ben Cross (Harold Abrahams from Cambridge), but the two did a wonderful job at giving us a sense of the emotion they must have went through during those times. It must be pretty universal for athletes even today.
