Summary - Bad 1.0
Wow. What a pointless piece of sh**. We all know remakes are pointless, but this particular remake is beyond that. There is no real effort to be found in this attempted “tribute” to Hitchcock’s masterpiece. There aren’t any scares, unlike the original which had plenty to go around. This is nothing more than a scene for scene, shot for shot, word for word, INSULT to a classic. There’s no point in even describing the story, seeing as how Psycho is one of the greatest and most famous films of all time. I only recommend watching this if your home alone, your friends are busy, you have no money, your cars out of gas, your computer’s broken, your phone doesn’t work, your dvd and vcr don’t work, and this movie is the only thing on tv.
Acting - Pretty Bad 1.5
The casting for this movie, is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. VINCE VAUGHN?!?!?! ANNE HECHE?!?!?! Gimme a break. The only good casting in this movie was William H. Macy and Julianne Moore.
