Wow, what a major dissapointment. I thought sequels like Spider man 2, Dark Knight, and Terminator 2 proved that sequels learn from mistakes and succeed over the original. But nnnnnnnoooooo, not in the terrible world of Michael Bay, someone better stick that jerk on a rocket and turn him into what he loves most: An explosion!
Shia Labeouf was just being his stupid “No no no no no nnooooo” self. Megan Fox is hot, but theres no reason for her to be there other than to run in slow mo, apparently.
Visuals are great, as for dialogue and everything in between….not so much.
Alien robots from space, its a fake-a** piece of s**t!
Regarding Phillip’s Review
Um, Isabel Lucas wasn’t a terminator.
Regarding Johnny Pace’s Review
Yeah, I was holding high hopes for Public Enemies too, but it proved a disappointment in the end. Not a bad movie, maybe even a great one, but definitely not perfect. I’m polishing up my review and should publish it later today.
Regarding Johnny Pace’s Review
Very amusing review Johnny P! I have no intention of seeing the movie, but am damn happy it came out ’cause it caused you to write such an entertaining slam.
My only quibble is that I don’t think Terminator Salvation is the quality blockbuster of the summer given that you, me and Will each gave it just 3.5 beams. I don’t think we’ve had one yet, notwithstanding the HUGE box office Michael Bay is scoring here. Fortunately, it’s just the 4th of July, so there’s hope that something memorable (in a good way) will appear before Labor Day.
In any case, Summer 2008 was a better year for blockbusters than 2009 can ever hope to be at this point.
