Summary - Very Good 3.5
Serious drama and an enticing love story with a New York edge. Bella infuses the stories of two different people who bond as they help each-other deal with some tough life circumstances. This film covers wide territory and lovers of the drama genre will find themselves pleasantly enveloped by it all. If you aren’t so much in to drama, well, it may be tough staying with it.
Acting - Good 3.0
The entire cast did a great job. The stars were Eduardo Verástegui (Jose), and Tammy Blanchard (Nina) – who both did admirably with portraying genuine emotion. But, honestly, this film wouldn’t have been half as good without the supporting cast who enriched most of the scenes.

The film was very well made. As Nina and Jose transition from scene to scene, the environment and the supporting cast all play a role in helping you learn more about the main characters without distracting you and relying on back-stories. There was also an interesting use of omitting parts of the story and skipping time in between scenes. It really makes you engage, and it forces you to put 2 and 2 together on your own.
