Of both the sequels to the 1985 classic Back to the Future, this is my favorite of the two. For me, it has more of a “I can watch this again and again value.” Like part 2, it picks up where the predecessor left off. Marty heads to the wild wild west to find Doc and get back to 1985, whilst keeping Doc from getting shot by Biff’s outlaw ancestor and Doc falling in love with a local school teacher.
The film is very entertaining. While it is a little more simplistic than the first two, it is still, in my personal opinion, a very fun filled adventure that the whole family can enjoy. Not as much raunchy humor so any age can enjoy it.
In all honesty, while I do love this film, I really don’t have much to say. Well, long story short: See it!!
The acting is excellent, as it was in the last two films. However, Mary Steenburgen is rather dull as Clara Clayton, Doc’s love interest.
The special effects are spectacular and the dialogue is clever and very funny. Zemeckis really did a good job of recreating the Wild West.
Definitely not as raunchy or rude as the first two, but there some very mild cases of violence.
