borafina's Review

Summary - Perfect 5.0

The Drew Barrymore-Adam Sandler combo almost always makes for a perfect date movie and this one doesn’t disappoint. Cute, charming, funny, sweet, poignant — everything you would want in a date movie.

Acting - Great 4.0

Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore are pretty consistent in their acting and acting abilities, especially in these types of ‘light’ movies. Funny to watch, they have great comedic chemistry together.

Edge - Tame 1.0

Completely tame.

Sex Innocent 1.0

Violence Gentle 1.0

Rudeness Polite 1.0

Reality - Surreal 2.9

I’m sure what happened to Drew could really happen. The reason I rated it surreal was because I didn’t think it likely that someone like Adam existed — ie. someone who would bother to create a new video tape each day so that Drew could ‘learn’ about her day before.

Circumstantial - Surreal 2.9

Biological - Surreal 2.9

Physical - Surreal 2.9
