Summary - Perfect 5.0

Another one of my all-time favourites — this is a family tradition at our home. Fantastic performances by Julie Andrews & Christopher Plummer, great supporting actors, wonderful scenery…and if musicals don’t annoy you, a wonderful movie to sing along to. Who can stop themselves from singing along at “Doe a deer, a female deer. Ray, a drop of golden sun….”

Acting - Perfect 5.0

Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer are spectacular.

Film - Perfect 5.0

Direction, dialogue and music are all stellar.

Edge - Tame 1.0

This movie is doubly enjoyable because of it’s charm in not requiring the usual sex, violence and rudeness to create impact.

Reality - Natural 1.0

Very little seems out of the ordinary.
