BrianSez's Review

Summary - OK 2.5

Can a teen find morality and purpose through rugby? Well, I guess so according to Forever Strong. This movie retreads the old “sports saves the wayward boy” shtick. It has some interesting points, but in general you could do better – unless of course you are a rugby fan, then watch for some entertaining matches between the good guys and the bad guys.

Acting - OK 2.5

Not bad acting, just not that much to write home about either. Well, maybe except for Gary Cole deserves a nod as the wise Coach.

Who knew rugby was popular in the central United States, and had teams who used Samoan war-chants to pump themselves up? Umm, I’m still not able to get over that completely.
