Summary - Good 3.0

A well crafted children’s book adaption which takes on the perspective of its lead, Max. Not all is well for Max, apparently friendless and unappreciated by his older sister whilst still struggling with his mum and dad’s divorce Max seek’s refuge in his imagination. But it soon becomes clear that the troubles of his real life have followed him to his fantasy universe.

A children’s film with a grown up feel to it. Some of the films brilliance might be lost on a younger audience.
Well directed and acted with great production value the wold of the beloved children’s book is expanded and brought to life in great style.

    Regarding MetalJunky5000’s Review
Solid review Junky. A couple of your observations really struck me:

    • “Max sees a bit of himself in each of the Wild Things.”
    • “Like Juno, this is a bit of a hipster sort of movie.”
