Summary - OK 2.5

If you want to see every action star from the past 20 years blowing people and stuff off the face of the earth for less than 2 hours, then go see this movie. Otherwise, consider this movie expendable.

The cast is stacked with over-the-hill guys who are still huge, and are playing the same characters they’ve played in all their other movies: Stallone, Statham, Li, Lundgren, Roberts, Schwarzenegger, Willis, Crews, and Rourke …

And some tough guys trying to cross over from the world of MMA and professional wrestling: Couture, Nogueira, and Austin.

This movie’s storyline is so thin it makes Kate Moss look fat.

But – YAY – there are lots of explosions, some cool marshal arts, and lots of guns … LOTS of guns.

Acting - OK 2.5

The guys make it work. The female lead’s performance couldn’t keep up with the guys’.

Film - OK 2.5

I wasn’t a huge fan of the camerawork — it was very similar to the latest “Bourne” movie, but it moved faster so made me kind of nauseous.

Edge - Horrid 3.7

Reality - Glib 2.0

  Happy to hear you liked it MJ, though your commentary seems more qualified than the 4 beam Great you gave it. Thus I’m thinking I might wait for Netflix or an airplane ride to catch it.
