A commentary on war crime, Hunting Party uses action, humor, and drama in this very entertaining film about tracking down a Bosnian war criminal. Richard Gere and Terence Howard make a great comeback duo in the hard lived world of wartime journalism. The story is interesting, the action relatively fast paced, and the quipping humor is funny. Enjoyable film!
Gere shows he still has it. At his age, getting away with over-the-edge behavior is a tougher feat, but Gere still pulls it off. Pairing him with Terence Howard was a great move, as Howard pulls off the straight-man really well. Ljubomir Kerekes makes a great Bosnian war criminal – hard edged with no respect for humanity. Hard to imagine that still existed after WWII.
A well done blend of story, action, drama, and humor.
It’s great to see fiction transformed in to a well deserved reality….
