Summary - Great 4.0

Definantly worth checking out even if you’ve seen the remake. It builds a great sense of tension and the verbal sparring between the leads is fantastic. The final five minutes when they make their way to the train station is a bit dissappointing but until then its an exallant film.

Acting - Perfect 5.0

Van Heflin is good but Glenn Ford is amazing.

Film - Great 4.0

Its hard not to judge old films by modern standards but the film production still holds up.

Edge - Tame 1.5

Tame by todays standards and probably nothing too bad in the 1950s.

Reality - Natural 1.0
