Summary - Very Good 3.5

Reality hits top company execs who find themselves in bad positions as their beloved company takes a hit. Ben Affleck plays the central character ‘Bobby Walker’ who tries to keep up appearances of doing well despite things crashing down around him. In these tough times, a movie likes this hits home, with nearly all of us having been exposed ourselves or through friends or family. Even the ones who thought they were above it all are impacted. Can you really be true to yourself and keep it all going? Not such an easy job, but TCM re-affirms an old lesson that what goes around comes around, and that karma pays off better than money.

Acting - Great 4.0

This was a great cast with Ben Affleck as the hardest hit. Chris Cooper, who plays an untouchable is great with the dramatic range as he finds out that what he loves is impacted as well. Tommy Lee – the big kahuna – is also fantastic as the head honcho who’s hard moves never feel right.

Film - Very Good 3.5

This movie takes advantage of timing, and what was going on in the economy at the time it came out. The story touches anyone who is affected by the economy, and the great acting makes it a very good movie.
