BrianSez's Review

Summary - Good 3.0

Halle Berry is a psychiatrist that wakes up from a traumatic event and finds herself as a patient in the same mental hospital she works in. This thriller of a ghost story takes us on her journey of discovering and dealing with the fact that she is the leading suspect in her husband’s murder. You will undoubtedly find yourself engrossed in the reasons, and although it is a bit scattered and disjoint at times, this is a very enjoyable movie that thriller (or Halle Berry) fans should add to their lists of films to see.

Acting - Good 3.0

Remarkable is how unpolished Halle Berry and Robert Downey Jr are in this movie. Not bad, but clearly still refining themselves on the big screen. Charles Dutton and John Lynch are big presences on the screen in their supporting roles.

Film - Good 3.0

The story-line was great, but the infusion of a ghost-story with this crime-thriller was a bit rough around the edges. That said, the film was still engrossing and the inevitable twists were not entirely predictable.
