Summary - Great 4.0

I went into this series expecting a crash and burn, but was happily surprised when it turned out to be a pretty decent viewing experience. I bombed my way through the series in only a few days (Netflix was only showing it streaming for a few days), but I didn’t find myself bored or wishing I could watch over a longer period of time.

Costumes are good. Acting is good. Storyline was close to what I remember from the book, though obviously some stuff had to be modified for the film adaptation.

It’s not The Wire, Breaking Bad, or The Sopranos, but it’s better than Rome.

    Regarding jasonhurwitz’s Review
Better than Rome? I really liked Rome, even though I never got around to reviewing it.
