BrianSez's Review

Summary - Good 3.0

Colin Farrell is an Irish Fisherman who catches the beautiful Ondine in her net. Is she a fabled mermaid creature? Judging from how she affects his luck and the folks in the small Idyllic Irish town on the coast of Cork, she is definitely something special. Whimsical and slow moving at times, it is nevertheless enthralling in a mythical Irish fish-tale kind of way, and the unwinding story will keep you interested.

Acting - Good 3.0

Colin Farrell is in his Irish element, sometimes at the expense of understanding what he is saying, but solid manly acting to be sure. I really liked Allison Barry – is talkative and energetic daughter Annie. Alicia Bachleta was mostly eye candy as Ondine, but not bad.
