Very believable characters, the protagonists are clearly seen to change.

Well composed scenes, especially the morning run to Gettysburg, mark this film.

Edge - Tame 1.0

Not really violent unless you count hardcore football as violent.

Reality - Glib 1.4

I think that despite the actors clearly not being of high school age, the weight of the situation, the emotional trauma, and the social struggles really come off well.
