Summary - Really Great 4.5

I’m still reeling from this movie. Ranks in the top three most depressing movies I’ve ever seen along with with “House of Sand and Fog” and “Pan’s Labyrinth.” I guess that’s not a good way to suggest this movie, and I’m not sure I do, but like those other two in my “top three most depressing” category, it’s so well-done that I’d say “Watch it once and never watch it again.” Then again, my roomate doesn’t feel depressed or disturbed after watching it, so ….

Acting - Perfect 5.0

Male Stars - Perfect 5.0

James Woods (Mel) and Vincent Kartheiser (Bobbie) are so good at their roles that I'm amazed they aren't just portraying themselves.

Female Stars - Perfect 5.0

Melanie Griffith plays the messed-up girlfriend of Mel (Woods) very well.

Female Costars - Perfect 5.0

Natasha Gregson Wagner shines in her role as Bobbie's (Kartheiser) girlfriend. I do wish she had had more screen time in the movie though.

Male Costars - Perfect 5.0

Biological - Natural 1.0

Physical - Natural 1.0
