Summary - Great 4.0

Very funny movie about polar opposites in High School who both end up as under-achieving cops sent back to their alma mater for the not so career enhancing job of busting up a high school drug ring. While the movie was predictable, it was nonetheless fun to watch with plenty of LOL moments as you are exposed to all those tried-and-true cliche characters from the good old days. I never knew about the TV show, so I had no expectations. This movie does not suck.

Acting - Good 3.0

Its hard for me to rate Jonah Hill higher than good, but his subtle style is a riot. He is paired well with Channing Tatum, a bigger but not meat-head-ish straight guy to Jonah’s underhanded humor shtick. Ice Cube was so-so, but in general the whole cast did a good job.

Film - Very Good 3.5

The movie delivers fun and laughs. You can’t complain about that.

Edge - Risqué 1.9

Reality - Glib 2.0
