BrianSez's Review

Summary - Good 3.0

Even back in ‘96 Denzel Washington shows his prowess as a hero tormented by inner demons. As we have seen since then, this has become a signature role for him. Courage Under Fire examines a military investigation led by Denzel’s character about whether an officer (Meg Ryan) deserves a medal of honor for saving most of her helicopter crew during Desert Storm. Denzel digs though conflicting stories and a few inner demons of others to get to the truth. A good blend of flashbacks provides a healthy dose of action, and the suspense and drama associated with the turning over of stones keeps you glued to the screen.
