Summary - Good 3.0
I want to give Dead Man Down a “Very Good” rating, but I just can’t. Colin Farrell is fantastic, but Noomi Rapace is disappointing and Terrence Howard is little more than forgettable. The plot is somewhat novel, but the script is only so-so, and, while the filmwork is great, the direction and play left me wanting more.
What’s that? Your wife’s out of town and you’re looking for a film to watch? Put away the internet and consider watching Dead Man Down (so long as you’ve already seen Gangster Squad, The Expendables, and the first 3 Fast and Furious movies.)

"Noomi Rapace":http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0636426/?ref_=tt_cl_t2 looked like a hairy version of "Lisbeth Salander":http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0185006/ which meant she wasn't convincing in this role. This isn't all too surprising, though, since DMD was directed by "Niels Arden Oplev":http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0649117/?ref_=tt_ov_dr, the same guy who directed the Swedish Version of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo":http://www.viewguide.com/movies/380260-the-girl-with-the-dragon-tattoo movie.Female Costars - Good 3.0
