Summary - OK 2.5

Fairly interesting Sci-Fi Yarn about crash landing to earth where everything hunts humans. Basically, just a new set-up for Will Smith to don a fighter-zen-master character to mentor his “grasshopper” Jaden Smith in to defeating bad things who get in the way. As with any M. Night Shyamalan movie, there was lots of action and prowess with swords. I was actually impressed with the fact that M Night seems to have toned it down a bit – making the whole experience a little less surreal. This is a good thing IMHO – but not good enough to get it past the OK range.
