BrianSez's Review

Summary - Good 3.0

A true critic would likely rate this ‘Ok’, but RoboCop is too cool of a story. It almost doesn’t matter what the acting is like. Next up in a recently long line of sci-fi films that merge humans with machines, Robo puts the concept to good use kicking some criminal ass. My favorite scenes were actually the lead-in with robots performing questionably in Afghanistan and Samuel L Jackson turning us in to believers. Robo has the great action you’d expect, coupled with a very cool spin on human-meets-machine crime fighting. My biggest disappointment was my inability to really connect with Mr. Robocop himself.

Acting - Good 3.0

Joel Kinneman underwhelms a bit – but it is hard to tell if his lifeless character is on purpose or just him. I guess I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. More polished are Michael Keaton, Samuel L Jackson, and even the hot Abbie Cornish as the most loyal wife ever.
