Seth Rogen’s comedic stab at growing up vs. Zac Efron’s antics aimed towards keeping the good times rolin’. Well, the result has several LOL moments for sure. You know, the Seth Rogen type of LOL moments. You expect them, but belly-laugh anyway. But then there’s the story. Not a bad premise, but yet somehow off. Like how the heck does Seth and Rose Byrne’s baby sleep through all the hoopla? But I digress. This sits somewhere in between go see it now or wait for it on streaming. How about your next plane trip. Yeah – that fits.
Seth is Seth and Zac is Zac – they deliver with consistency. I felt that Rose Byrne didn’t add that much other than to fulfill a male 20-something’s idea of the perfect woman. Ike Barinholtz was a surprise hit with me. I’d expect to see him in more of Seth’s comedies.
Regarding BrianSez’s Review
Hmmm. I’m going tonight, with expectations appropriately lowered.
