Zero Motivation is a loafer’s view of army life, as embodied by the worst unit in the Israeli Army. Some girls just aren’t army-material, but that hardly matters in a country with universal service requirements.
Instead of F-Troop, think G-Troop – IDF Style.
To be fair, I’m the opposite demographic for a female-produced and focused dramedy about a bunch of coed teens and twenty-somethings. (The movie is a lot less salacious than that sentence makes it sound.)
They’re mostly mean girls, spoiled too, the kind often seen in movies, comedies especially. Self-centered and secular, they’re not fun to be around, perhaps unless you’re another disaffected girl.
That said, I can see how Zero Motivation might be big in Tel Aviv. In Silicon Valley, not so much.

Disclosure: I stopped watching about an hour in, leaving open the possibility that Zero Motivation turned into Hail the Conquering Hero in the last reel and a half, but I doubt it.
Beware a jarringly sad and violent episode in this otherwise jocular comedy.
Regarding Wick’s Review
Sounds like Mean Girls meets In the Army Now with a Full Metal Jacket scene thrown in to kill the buzz.
