Summary - OK 2.5

Queen Latifah knocks one out of the park with Bessie – a story about the legendary blues singer Bessie Smith. You definitely get to know that tough dame — surviving in a tough business — constantly battling alcoholism and the ill effects of the party life. Unfortunately the screenplay and rest of the cast don’t quite keep up with her.
