Frustratingly great is how I’d sum up 13 Hours. Great, because the film highlights once again just how kick-ass the American military (and ex military, and secret military) are at their jobs – even against significant odds. Frustrating, because the ineptitude of leadership is ever so obvious and directly related to the pain and suffering of those aforementioned kick-ass soldiers. 13 Hours should be seen, not only because it is a great action movie, but especially because it documents a part of American history that I hope we can learn from.
Let by John Krasinski, the cast is as kick-ass as the professionals they represent.
Unfortunately, this sh*t is all too real.
