Eye in the Sky personalizes the impersonal style of modern warfare: drones and disconnected decision making. Stalwarts Helen Mirren, Alan Rickman, and youngsters Alan Rickman and a great supporting cast do a great job of dramatizing the decision making about what constitutes a legal hit and acceptable collateral damage. The film suffers from a bit too much hemming and hawing and dragging on a bit too much, but brings it home in the end for a thrilling and dramatic conclusion.
