Summary - Very Good 3.5

Beyonce, Jaimie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Danny Glover, Jennifer Hudson – need I add more? There were more. A terrific cast did a great job of giving us a glimpse into the life of soul-sisters in the 60’s. It was a little weird seeing Eddie Murphy singing like James Brown, but the unexpected musical format worked great for a movie about music, and the great story will more than overcome any concerns from you musical doubters out there.
