BrianSez's Review

Summary - OK 2.5

Follows the story of Nat Turner and his slave rebellion in 1831. Although the relatively forgotten story of historical significance has a ton of potential to make for a great film, the execution just failed to connect emotionally with me. I’m a white guy, but that’s not it, it just needs a more dramatic showing. Also, what’s with the semi misleading movie title?
