BrianSez's Review

Summary - Great 4.0

Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf are excellent in this heart-touching coming of age story. Saoirse is the self-named ‘Lady Bird’ – put in to Catholic school by her over bearing mom to save her from the streets of Sacramento. The story runs the usual gamut of parental relations, love, clique-y high school, and figuring life out. Before you are deterred by what might seem run-of-the-mill, fear-not – this is all about the excellent acting and characters, and Greta Gerwig deserved every Oscar nomination and Golden Globe award that she got.
