Summary -
Barely OK
2.0
Pretty low on my list of funny movies, even in the “stupid teen comedy” genre. The movie is based entirely around a just-graduated-from-high-school-geek who spends his entire summer living on the front yard of his heart’s desire, a girl named Erica, refusing to move until she loves him. Of course, since this is an American teen movie, “loves him” really means “sleeps with him.” A few chuckles, but definitely no LOLs.
Acting -

The cast actually did pretty well with the script they were given.

Joshua Schaefer plays the awkward lover (Peter) convincingly. No hard, considering he's a scrawny white boy.
Female Stars -
Great

Keri Russell does well as Erica, the object de lust for Peter. Her shining moment, though, is in the opening scene when she is playing in the sprinkler in short jean shorts and a white wife beater. Truly, the apex of the movie is in the first five minutes because of these shots.

Like some guy would actually waste an entire summer living on a girl's front yard trying to make her love him as she's about to leave for college. Yeah, right.
