Summary - Perfect 5.0

I reckon this is one of my most favourite drama movies for a long while. It has many unexpected turns and a heart felt feeling for the characters.

Acting - Perfect 5.0

The Acting was superb, especially by Tome Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan.

Film - Perfect 5.0

The sets look realistic and everything else seems to be in order.

Edge - Tame 1.0

The violence and sex scenes were appropiate and the rudeness fit the story well.

Reality - Glib 1.8

Everything was real accept "Jon Coffey’s healing powers.

  I haven’t seen Green Mile, so can’t make an informed comparison. That said, I gave Shawshank a Perfect, so it could do no worse than tie.

  Wow, great question! I’d have to give the edge to Shawshank, based only on the mystical faith healing portion of Green Mile. Certainly they both boast great ensemble casts, includinhg likeable convicts. But in the end, Id have to go Shawshank. How about you?
