No day but today!
I’ve seen this musical multiple times on Broadway, once including the original cast. When I read that this was coming to the big screen with almost the entire original cast, I counted the days until it’s opening and saw it the day it opened. This story of a group of friends and lovers dealing with life and death situations in 1980s New York is perfect. The music and musical performances are top notch. Since the movie, I have seen the show on Broadway a couple more times, most recently in August 2007 when Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal returned to show. Pure magic on film and in person!
