Summary - Good 3.0
The Marvell comic turned Movie genre has a classic in ‘The Punisher’. Forget realism, the hero who has been done wrong will magically come back from near death, exhibit strange abilities to live no matter what, and be an amazing opponent to the bad guy. The vigilantism will inspire a ‘yeah!’ in you more time than once, and you will enjoy the tough-guy coolness. Nothing special on the acting front, but the action keeps you entertained – and the battle-ready Dodge Charger? Sweet…..
Acting - OK 2.5
Thomas Jane makes a decent tough guy, and Travolta is classic as the villan.
