Sci-Fi really isn’t my thing, but when I heard so many great things about this movie, I thought I’d give it a shot. What a perfect movie. This isn’t your average sci-fi shoot-em-up, omg-alien thing. Something about it really pulls you in and engages you in the story. I watched this on a car ride, and halfway through the movie, we stopped to get food. Very rarely has a movie made me really want to just get back to it and finish it. When I did finish it, I was very suprised about how the ending turned out, and it left me with my jaw hanging open.
Absoutely perfect. Nothing more needs to be said.
The style of the film was very interesting- it starts out s a documentary, then turns into a traditional film. Something else I must mention is how the aliens looked very realistic. The motion-capture technology really worked out for this film.
Very violent and some references to “inter-species” sex.
Very unrealistic, although someone not knowing aliens don’t exist may mistake this film for a real documentary.
Thnx
