Cry_Wolf is an incredibly underrated thriller that more people should see. Basically, it’s about a group of college kids who create a fake serial killer by the name of “The Wolf”. They tell everyone he’s on campus, and naturally, everyone is startled. But what starts out as a harmless joke, turns into something entriely real.
Cry_Wolf has a great setup to a Saw-like twist ending that is completely unexpected. Getting into the film, I thought it would be just another horrendous teen shlasher flick, but it turned out to be a mystery thriller I really enjoyed. The main theme of the movie is lieing, and it worked well, since there is nobody you can trust in this film. Director Jeff Wadlow was able to create a cast of multiple teen characters that I actually cared for (shocker) and for such an unknown cast, they gave quite a good performance. There is even a small part played by Bon Jovi.
Another thing great about Cry_Wolf is that the PG-13 rating doesn’t make it suck. If you have noticed for the past couple of years, there has been a trend of PG-13 rated movies that all avoid being R, by putting in horrible cliches, and testing the rating by putting in 1 “F-Word”. They make you feel like your not even watching a quality movie. I can safely say thet Cry_Wolf is a quality movie, and a smart one at that. So my final words? Go see it- it’s worth your time.
The Unrated Cut has some pretty bloody violence, but it doesn’t compare to some other movies these days.
Pretty realistic for what it is.

Is it just me, or does the poster Wick added remind you of “Audition”?
Regarding izzio’s Review
Hey Iz,
I updated the poster with a rather arresting Spanish one.
