BrianSez's Review

Summary - Good 3.0

This is a surprisingly funny romantic comedy that brings unique twists to the genre: sarcastic and witty humor well done by Ricky Gervais, and an oddball use of ghosts . Plenty of hearty chuckles abound, and more of them if you catch on to sarcasm. A charming story with a happy ending that has a few life lessons thrown in to boot. I say thumbs up to Ghost Town for a family or date friendly light hearted experience.

Acting - Good 3.0

I’ve never seen Ricky Gervais, and now I’m a fan – armed with a sarcastic and witty humor – he’s a great fit as the anally retentive British dentist now plagued with ghosts. Greg Kinnear has his shtick down really well also. I also liked Tea Leoni as the love interest.

    Regarding BrianSez’s Review
Seems about right Bri. Wasn’t worth heading out to pay at the theater, but worth seeing.
