Summary - Really Great 4.5

I really enjoyed this movie. The comedy and action was perfectly balanced, and the story was completely original.

Acting - Perfect 5.0

A fantastic cast. of some actors I’ve never heard of. Nicolas Cage, for the first time, was actually my favorite in the movie. Usually I hate Cage with his voice and bad movies, but here, I really wanted to see more and more of him. Also, Cloe Moretx was the ideal Hit-Girl, with her swearing and… well… Kicking Ass!!

Film - Really Great 4.5

The way the film is cut looks great. Also, the soundtrack of borrowed music really sets the mood for the scene, whether it be funny or action-oriented.

Edge - Horrid 3.7

The R rating for this movie REALLY does mean it’s R. This is an ultra-violent movie with an extensive amount of violence. Also, some sex.

Reality - Surreal 2.2

  I don’t know. It would have a LOT of expectations to fulfill. And considering most super sequels are better than their super predecessors and Mark Millar is writing a sequel to the comic, a sequel seems likely. I guess we’ll have to see how strong of a life it has on DVD.

  Regarding Wick’s Review
  Indeed a great review as always, Wick. I saw the film and I thought it was definitly really good, but I couldn’t help but feel a little letdown. However, I feel it best I shouldn’t review it cuz I don’t want to kill the buzz. Plus, all your guys’ reviews are enough to tell people to see the movie : )
