This movie is flawless. Nothing about it made me wonder “why” or “what”- I just went along for the ride. The movie didn’t stress me out. It didn’t bore me. It didn’t gross me out (then again nothing does). To start, the story is extremely well executed. It flows extremely well from the beginning to the end. The action sequences are like no others. There’s a 10 minute black-and-white action scene called the “Crazy 88” that you’ll be watching over and over again. It’s so perfectly coreographed and the violence is o-so-satisfying. It’s so over-exagerrated that you just have to love it. For example, there is a scene where a man is plainly decapitated, but a shower (and I mean a SHOWER) of blood comes rushing out. You gotta love Tarantino. Oh, one more thing… if you’ve ever watched the Lady GaGa “Telephone” video with the “Pussy Wagon”… yeah thats from this…
Uma Thurman is AMAZING as The Bride. The whole cast, in fact, is AMAZING.
The way the movie goes from color to black-and-white to anime, and back is extraordinary. Quentin Tarantino is definitely a skilled director, as he splits the movie into chapters of his amazing story.
Yeah, so the violence is cheesy, but monstrous. Also, there is a scene of attempted sex (I think).
Super unrealistic, which makes is even more fun.

“like live action anime” – great line.
