Summary - Good 3.0
“Grown Ups” is a solid comedy. It has a substantial number of laughs, and entertaining skit-like scenes that last throughout the film. This is NOT by any means “The Hangover.” It is NOT by any means “Talledaga Nights.” It is brain-dead entertainment and I will let you decide whether that is good or bad.
Acting - Very Good 3.5
Very good acting from the Fab Five (Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and Kevin James). They manage to do their job which is to keep the movie funny.
Male Stars - Very Good 3.5
Female Stars - Very Good 3.5
Salma Hayek and the other wives of the rambunctious men are pretty realistic.Female Costars - Good 3.0
Male Costars - Good 3.0
Film - Good 3.0
While being well directed, “Grown Ups,” also manages to hold its audience with some hilarious dialogue that somehow lasts all the way through. WOW!

This is immature humor for mature audiences, as some kid-sensitive topics come up.

Regarding moviedude’s Review
Solid take Dude. I’d meant to get out to see this, seeing as how I love most any LOL comedy. Now I guess I’ll wait for home viewing.BTW, “immature humor for mature audiences” is a great line. I think I smell a ReviewPik there.
