Summary - Really Great 4.5

When you thought to yourself how Superbad didn’t represent what young life was like for you, this is the movie you were meant to see. Besides the 80’s backdrop, this coming-of-age movie has an old-school teen movie feel that will appeal to your inner youngness. Who would have thought that a cheesy theme park would provide the backdrop for life’s lessons. Great movie!

Acting - Great 4.0

Jessie Eisenberg (James) makes the movie. His subtle sarcasm and genuine demeanor melts the girls and rightly so – most notably the hard edged yet beautiful Kristen Stewert (Em). Lots of notables in this movie, including Bill Hader and Ryan Reynolds.

Film - Really Great 4.5

In addition to the great story and acting, Adventureland does a fantastic rendition of the 80’s – I mean, when was the last time you saw an AMC Pacer used in a film including repetitions of the song ‘Amadeus’ as background music. Of course, it doesn’t stop there – have lots of fun picking out all the 80-isms.
